Clark Covington not only explains the ins and outs of writing for different online markets; he also backs it up with his own experiences. The author tells the reader the basics to how to go about writing, what pay is reasonable for, and what to expect in the future for each type of writing. There is no sleight of hand going on in this book. Instead, everything is obviously real and true. I enjoyed reading this down-to-earth discussion of a timely topic. I can already see that it will help me in making money online.

    Anyone who has the spare time and has some decent writing skills can make some money on the side to help pay off some of those nagging bills. Clark Covington, the author of “The Definitive Guide to Making Money Online With Your Writing” has spent several years at trying to figure out how to make a living and honestly live on the income. He did find his latest venture by using his writing skills. Although, it didn’t take him long to figure out others could help him at a fraction of the cost. Besides he also knows he likes the business end better.

    You learn some of the new terms floating around from the web and what search engine optimization (SEO) really means. You’ll read a few of his personal stories and the bumps he took along the way until he found something that worked. If anything, even though he couldn’t make his clothing boutique work he’ll always be able to teach in a pinch if anything goes wrong with this deal. He’s a self starter, he motivated and he finds a niche and taps the faucet. He sounds like a true entrepreneur in all the senses of the word. Read his story and some of the ideas to see how you can earn some money on the side.

  • This book is a good resource for anyone who is trying to get into freelance writing. The author includes several areas of need and a way to get your foot in the door. He takes each topic, such as blogging, and explains what is needed, how much growth can be expected, how to make contact with potential clients, and most importantly how much the pay is. The book is laid out in an easy to read format which makes it great for beginners to use.

    This book is not going to make you rich. The author even says that most of the people that do freelance writing in this manner are looking for a little extra income. If you like to write and are looking into new avenues of earning a little extra cash, then this is a good book for you.

    Clark Covington has written a book that not only fills you with great information about making money by using your talent as a writer, but it also motivates you to get out there and do something. He takes a look at a few of the areas of writing available including blogs, newsletters, and webpage content. He explains how to find these jobs, what pay to expect, and the pros and cons associated with each type of job.

    I really enjoyed reading this book. It is written from experience, which gives it an added edge. It is also written in plain conversational language. There are no fancy words or catch phrases to try and draw the reader in or lull them with false promises. After reading this book, I am curious to see if I have what it takes to take on a few writing tasks

At times, the view is not so pretty as the online world is very competitive. It is truly a land led by those that will seize and opportunity when presented and market it to their full ability. If you’re looking for a book to make you a better writer, you may need additional sources. However, if you are looking for a book that will show you have to make the most of the situations and opportunites you are presented with in this wild world of writing, than this is a viable companion to add to your resourse library.
