Well written and thorough. As with most internet-related works, time passes so rapidly that the book is a bit dated almost before it is available to the public. That holds true for this book. In spite of that limitation, the author provides much valuable information to the reader who is looking to maximize the impact of a limited marketing budget while getting his or her message out on the internet.
I definitely recommend this book.

I need to disclose the fact that I have watched and learn from Antoin O Lachtnain since the last 90s when he was teaching the leading Irish teleco how to formulate a dominant web presence. Some of those trade secrets appear between the covers of this little book, making it a favourite of students enrolled in web development courses I teach in Ireland. If you’re trying to scrape out a meaningful internet presence, you should consider reading “Making an Impact Online” before you flush away money needlessly. And if your job is to advise clients on setting up and maintaining a viable web presence, you should grab a copy of this book and use its advice when helping others build working web sites.
